I made this journal cover for my partner in a recent swap. The quote was one she had pinned on her Pinterest. I tried something new (to me) out for this one-printing on to fabric. I ironed a piece of freezer paper onto the fabric I wanted to print on, and cut to the size of a normal piece of printer paper. Making sure it would feed through right side up, I printed out the quote in a font I liked and in a couple of different sizes (spaced apart). I let it sit to make sure it was dry, and then cut out the size I liked, centered it on my journal cover, and stitched around it. I was very pleased with how it turned out and have no doubt of using this technique in the future!

Thanks for looking! Smiley

This is lovely, I especially like how you were able to do the quote on fabric.

The stitching around the quote makes a great frame! I do love journals and journal covers and you make such wonderful ones!
Did you have any trouble with the ink running when ironing over it?

Hmmm I cant remember if I actually ironed over it or just around it. Roll Eyes
