Anyone down for a healthy eating swap?
Stuff to help you keep on track and celebrate what works for you (vegan, nutritarian, general healthy eater, etc.)

I need this like woah.  Depending on timing and what's going on in my RL, I may be able to join.

Question - what's a nutritarian?

A person who tries to eat the most micronutrient foods more than nutrient-less stuff. Dr. Joel Fuhrman wrote "Eat to Live" and it's based on his info.

It encourages low fat and high amounts of produce over other foods. It's working for my intestinal tract pretty well. I'm getting a LOT more fiber than before.

Example of how you are supposed to eat on his plan:

I would definitely join this it it becomes and actual swap! It sounds fun and while I love crafting swaps, I love even more to participate in swaps that don't bring more (really cool) crafts I will never use into my life. And healthy living is a passion of mine!

I love the idea! I don't know what the restrictions on sending food items across borders is, though. So that worries me a little bit since I obviously don't want my delicious gluten free crackers or superfood granola mix to get caught in customs. Undecided

You can always play it super safe and craft items to encourage healthy eating like recipes and containers and accessories (thinking lunch bags, cute water bottle accessories, a recipe scrapbook, etc) that promote that person's eating style.

I would like to see this swap get off the ground. I am especially interested in swapping favorite healthy recipies with reviews. (Reusable, washable snack bags are also handy)
