I'd been waiting for an excuse to buy Lion Brand Amazing yarn for a while now. I finally found a pattern that I thought would be great for it since it was a present - this used about one skein. Add a few glass beads on the trim and I was in business!

I used the Chastain Park Shawl pattern from Ravelry. I had a lot of fun knitting this and found it an easy knit. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. The yarn has more of a halo than I personally like, but the recipient loved it.

Thank you, everyone! It was a great learning experience. Now I just have to improve my bead technique. Anyone have suggestions?
