Hi Ladies
Just posting my last bag of the year (most likely)..

My main goal in making this bag was to do the hidden vertical pocket. Without the zipper pulll, the pocket is completely hidden

I posted more pics in the purse forum

Now to go catch up!

Thanks Ladies!  it's been something I've been wanting to try out for a while.  The fabric is a faux leather I found at a local fabric store.  It's very soft.  I interfaced the lining with fusible fleece to give the bag some stability.

Just finished this up for my (future) SIL last night. She loves Buddah's and I was so excited when I found this fabric. This is a larger purse and it is far from perfect but I am still proud of it. It was my first intermediate pattern. It has a plastic piece in the base and you do this pillow type fold to keep it there and then you put the liner in.  Huh  Turned out though! It has two pockets inside, one with a zipper and one without. I already plan to do another one for my sister for her birthday in April. I figure it would be a little nicer since I am more familiar with the pattern. I am going to give this to my SIL with all her gifts inside, it's sort of the wrapping.

inside pocket #1 (sorry the pic is a bit fuzzy)

 and the focus pocket.

Gozer--what a lovely gift and gift wrap!  I am sure she is going to be stunned by your handiwork!  I love that fabric...the lining is very nice as well...it looks mottled.
