Finally--I have a purse done...and a new admiration for anyone who can make multiple bags...they are a lot of work, no kidding! Glad it is done...it might be a while before I have the energy to tackle another one Grin

I did see the bag gozer made, but didn't comment... What a pretty bag, gozer! You placed the fabric perfect, it pops out! Great work!

And AIMR I said it in the separate post already, but what a beautiful bag! I love the patchwork of all those kimono-fabrics. Well done!

I have never made a bag without thinking "what the heck was I thinking??" hahaha! Let's just say that I am not that good at estimating.. (and I'm usually in that state of mind even before I get to the sewing part, I HATE the cutting part)

It is sad but there's no crafty news from my part! It is almost Summer holiday so it is a hectic time at school. No time left for crafting  Sad

Finally got around to doing another bag.. I used a retired pattern from Michelle patterns but changed a few thngs and assembled it my own way.. had a few issues.  The pattern doesn't call for the metal eyelet handle but I had some so wanted to use it..

Haven't checked in for a while, so will have to go catch up on other's bags.

How did you do those handles? Do they require a special tool? I really want one of the tools that puts the snaps and rivets on. I am going to havet to add whatever you did there to my list of wants!  Wink
I like the style and that blue fabric. Very pretty. I would have never guessed you made it. Looks professional!

I made another purse for a swap, the Tim Burton swap.
I hand painted and drew the characters on the front. I thought it turned out neat.

First time doing this pattern. It was pretty quick and easy. I might do more for Christmas but I have some other patterns to test first.
