You may have already discussed this and I missed it, but is anyone entering something in the PBW challenge?  Entries aren't due until the end of the month, but I'm curious!

hey everyone.. hope everyone is enjoying their bag making.  i finished a small crossbody, but still need to take photos.  I'm writing a tutorial for it that will be on the sew mama sew blog next week. Will post pics as soon as I can.

Also for people that were interested in the tubular frame bag I tested earlier, the lady released the pattern and has a giveaway for it. http://sewfearless.com/

I might have to take a break from bag making as my son's birthday is coming up and need to do some stuff for that. I have a few bags in mind though.. a backpack possibly

Happy sewing

Oooh, thanks for the link and I will check out your tut on Sew Mama Sew!
My sewing has taken a bit of a break. I worked on other projects this weekend for a swap I am in. I really do need to get back on it though. I cleaned some and found my pattern instructions so that was a big plus!  Wink

I finished almost all of my dog purses and also did some easy, crossstitched ones. Just have to get my ass up to take pictures...

They turned out really cute!  The tiger is my favorite.

I read that you were fiddling with the zipper...this is one of the best ways to finish off a pouch type zipper closure that I have found.  It looks a lot more finished and professional and prevents the bumpiness that I have seen in a lot of sewn bags.  Hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip. I tried that on the bags too, but the faux leather is too bulky so they kind of did not turn, plus: I think the zippers are a tiny bit too long (I am such a hero figuring that out after I made FOUR bags...facepalm!)
