Cute  Smiley I like the cat details!

Gozer I like the fabrics you've chosen and the bag pattern. Can't wait to see it complete.

I love that you added a belt!  What a unique purse---you made it yourself and no one will have a copy!  I love the cat!

I LOVE that bag pattern gozer - you'll have to give us a pattern review once you're done Smiley

Craftica - great upcycled denim purse! I love the shape Smiley

I love to make totes and bags - thank you for starting this craftalong! This is the next bag that I am going to try. And wouldn't you know - I have the chevron in my stash  Grin Tutorial from "I am Momma, Hear me Roar" blog

That chevron bag is adorable. Something so retro yet now about it. What colors are you going to do it in?

I read all the instruction for the Sunburst Sling purse and it is very well written. So far I have cut out almost all of the pieces. I thought I had them all cut out but realized I didn't when I started ironing on the interfacing (not the patterns fault, all mine). Lots and Lots of pieces!
I found two more fabrics that coordinated at another store. Here is how I set them up.

No more time today to cut so it will have to wait a bit but I am excited. I think it will be very cute.

Yes, matching up the chevrons will be quite a job!! And it start with cutting that precise.
I made a bag with a pattern that I wanted to match, boy oh boy what a job it was!  Roll Eyes

texscrapper, it is a lovely bag!  Smiley

gozer, you did so much already! I like that look of it, fun and happy!

Oh and totally not on my list, but I did it anyway: a crocheted bag! Made that yesterday evening while my parents were visiting us. We are having a mini-holiday and rented a cute little cottage. I like crafting and decided to take crochet-stuff with me!

It looks a bit wonky, the thread was quite thick. But I like it that way.

Craftica-great bag, the added belt is a fun detail.
gozer-that is going to be a fun bag.  I do not envy all that cutting.
wendiek- Love the crochet bag!  Did you use yarn or fabric?  I love the chunky look to it.

Thanks plaidpineapple! Smiley

I used t-shirt yarn, I didn't make it myself but just bought it. I did make it myself before, but it was such a job to cut the fabric into yarn.
