Oh yes, that pile of patches alone is impressive!! That bag will be so awesome!

(When I work with lots of pieces, I arrange them and then take a picture, that way I don't have to remember what it looked like and I can easily compare the different arrangements. But maybe you already do that  Smiley )

Wise One that is quite a pile of patches! Once you have put them all together you will have to start another pile for another project Wink
wendiek the photo idea is a good one, I have not done that before but I will keep it in mind in the future!

Yep.  Real keys.  I picked them up in the basement of a funky antique shop in Bisbee, a town where they live on hillsides in mine shacks and make bottle walls and drive art cars.  Hubby and I quit our cubicle jobs and piled into our Airstream and hit the road.  After 6 months I had a melt-down from hiking and biking each and every day.  I desperately needed something to do creatively.  My aunt posted one of SheepBlue's bags on her FaceBook page and I thought that I could do it by hand with just a few purchases.  So that explains the piles and piles of patches.  Those patches are three months of sanity  Smiley  But I do have to say that it would have been cheaper just to buy one of the SheepBlue bags on her etsy page!!!   Cheesy

I loved the TM bag you posted, Wise One!  It looks like the new one is going to be a winner!  I still have all my pieces in a box to make one someday! Cheesy

wendiek--I take pictures like that when I am putting together quilts, too! Usually, the first layout is the best, but I know that sometimes we arrange things over and over just to get back to our first instinct! Cheesy

I have been wanting to make a bag like this since I saw it on Pinterest Smiley I just LOVE the look of chevron & burlap together. This little tote went together super quickly too - it only took me about an hour Smiley
