I tried to make a dog nose for one of my pug purses out of poofy paint but it turned out looking like a tumor. Luckily I was able to peel it off while it was still hot from poofing. I'll give it another try tonight.

Here is an upcycled sweater purse that I sent to a swap partner Smiley This sweater was just too cute not to reuse! You can't tell from the photo but the sweater is a red metallic.

And the inside is a fat quarter I received in the Novelty FQ swap Smiley

Lille - that looks awesome.  I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

texscrapper - you're right - the sweater was too cool not to upcycle!  Gorgeous!

texscrapper that is a very, very pretty purse!! Love the handles, the colour and structure are pretty and so is the lining!

Great job, it makes me want to sew! But I need to go to work now...  Wink

Texscrapper the bag looks fab and I totally love the lining fabric. Also kudos for upcycling! Smiley

I recently finished some granny squares that I started working on last year. I want to crochet them together and turn it into some kind of a purse. I have some buckles and a suede belt that I'm thinking of using for handles. Will have to see.

lol glamis---You definitely do not want anything to look like a tumor! Cheesy

wow--the sweater purse is a wonderful way to upcycle a sweater!  How perfect does that fat quarter lining go with it as well!  Lovely!

katata--those cute grannies would make a very cute tote...we do need our totes to carry or hold our many projects!

Texscapper, the red sweater tote is great. I think the lining is perfect for it! Great combo!
And those granny squares are going to be absolutely adorable as a purse Katara! Can't wait to see what you come with.
I am with wendiek, seeing all this makes me want to sew but time keep alluding me.
