livi1 - That pink stitching is an awesome touch to that bag - it really makes the detail of the bow pop!

Kookaloo star - that is a neat pattern - I have been using clothing alot lately in my bagmaking - I may need to try that one too!

liliv-1  That is a fabulous purse.  Love the bow and the stitching.  I am always afraid to use a contrast thread but looking at how much it can add, I might have to give it a try.  What pattern did you use?
I didn't use a pattern, it's a very simple bag (except of the bow and the time consuming handstiching) ... just two trapezoids in the desired size, which I modified during sewing to achieve a more rectangular shape. The bow is a  rectangle which was put in a way shown at a previous post of this thread...If you want further explanations just ask me ... I'm very glad you liked it.

thanks for your comments!
but:
Sad(( the stiching is not pink, it's very deep red, the photos are not good!

I finished the orange one, I corrected the problem with some lace and put a bow instead of flower:

Love those colors!  These are so pretty and you do such nice work that I think I may need to eventually trade in my paper plates and get myself a real thread catcher!
