I sewed and napped and procrastinated and then sewed some more. I WOULD be done right now if I didn't just sew my liner on inside-out. Grrrr. I was distracted by my kitty wanting to help me. I'll have to tell her she sucks at sewing.  Wink

me too! I did manage to rip that seam out and sew it back in. Here is the purse I made for my sisters b-day. It's not til the first week of April so I will have to wait to see if she likes it.
Very simple easy pattern. I am slowing dipping my toe back into sewing.
Here is the front of the purse.

and here is the back

the inside with the purse with a shot of the raven on the pocket. I always choose light colors for the inside. I think it makes it easier to find things.

Here is the whole things so you can see how long the handles are. I can't get the picture the turn(?)

Yay! One down!!! I never would have gotten this done without the craft-a-long. I needed the motivation! Thanks everyone!!!

WWWHHAAATT??? More bags finished?  Huh  Boy oh boy, I better check in here four times a day!

Gozer: hahaha whenever I'm a bit tired or distracted I'd better NOT sew or it will turn inside out, up side down and sometimes a few times in a row  Roll Eyes
Too bad your kitty can't sew! Maybe he/she is good at seam ripping?
The result of your bag is stunning! Very special!!

Lilliv, what a good idea go use all those thread this way! It is looking good!

Texscrapper, what a cute bag! I like how you used the loops of the pants (mmh, hope that is right) and gave it a 'belt'.  Smiley
