That pug purse is going to be epic!

And, I am a huge fan of repurposing so I am really excited about the mini skirt purse!

Wendiek--I use a leather sewing machine needle for vinyl and leathers...it makes sewing so much easier and, at least on vinyl, if you use a warm iron with a cloth, it seems to melt the holes back together... Cheesy

Of course, it does not work on the leather, so you do have to be careful!

I have sewed vinyl before, using a leather needle or a jeans needle. My machine can do it, hahaha I am the problem  Wink ! Thanks for the tip on using your iron and a cloth, that is a very good idea!  Cheesy.

Careful isn't my name, that's for sure....

Okay!

Here's the purse I hope to make:

And here are the fabrics I'm considering ... I think they might be too busy together, though, so maybe the brown with a solid brown flap and a light blue rosette?  Thoughts?

Oh my god! This is lovely!! Do you have a pettern in mind?

Does a Teeshed Moore type bag count? I'm in the process still not done after about 2 yrs on it. Something always comes up.

Wendie that's a neat book! I like her patterns too!
