I bought this pattern a couple weeks ago
http://www.etsy.com/listing/101931973/sunburst-sling-sewing-pattern?
and SWORE I would make this (with Halloween type fabrics) for myself at some point this year too. It's way bigger than I normally carry. I ordered some fabric for it but I will need to find more. If I can find enough fabrics I will start this one.

And I LOVE that soda tab-crochet purse! Wow! That is really cool and unique!!

I found two purse patterns in my supplies although I don't know if they are actually intact  Embarrassed I have some lovely shimmery curtain fabric with a dandelion pattern that I like the look of for a purse or some linen with a branch & leafy kind of print although I only have a small piece of that and the print is quite large. Decisions,decisions...

Post pictures, then we can advice you (or confuse you) Cheesy

LOVE that bag Gozer, that is the sort of size I carry mostly  Grin

I'll post some pics tomorrow Lille,it's 8pm and dark and the light in my sewing room sends the colours all out of whack.

I will let you guys know how hard it is too make (and show pics). I am a novice and like VERY clear instructions. The only part that scares me so far is the trim part. It looks like piping sort of. I have never done that before. I have my main fabric picked and I ordered fabric that is suppose to coordinate with it. Then I will be off the store and trying to match a bunch more to that. LOL! I have no idea what it will end up looking like.

Thanks for the link Hax  Smiley I like the look of this one,it's big enough to be useful to me but dressier (if that applies to bags, its certainly not baggier *lol*) than my usual jeans conversion  Roll Eyes
