I am joining you gals.  I am going to make the Amy Butler Blossom bag.  Today I have started cutting out pieces, it feels like it is going to take a long time to measure and interface it all.

I appreciate the kind comments and it's good to see so many people sewing purses; it will be very interesting watching them all take shape!

Progress on Everyday Clutch 1:

The next steps are to stitch magnets into the opening to keep it closed and stitch in the lining (pictured above the clutch). Then I had better start work on the tote. I'm very grateful for this craftalong, I may not have made time for this otherwise and it's a lot of fun!

Shari, I am sure you can join us with a Teesha Moore bag. A bag is a bag, right?

JessKelly, that bag is already looking so pretty!

Hax, that clutch is lovely!

Plaidpineapple, I want to make that bag in this craftalong too! It has been on my list since
I bought that Amy Butler book about a year ago!
You're further in the process, I haven't even decided what fabric I will use  Wink

And kaz814, I checked out a few of your projects and it's looking so good! Can't wait to see how your bag will turn out!  Cheesy  (I'm not stalking you, don't worry! I like going through projects fellow Craftsters make when I'm in a swap... Even when I'm not partnered with that Craftster, hahaha!)

Does a Teeshed Moore type bag count? I'm in the process still not done after about 2 yrs on it. Something always comes up.

Wendie that's a neat book! I like her patterns too!

It totally counts!  Cheesy  Can't wait to see it!

Hi,

If there's room for another, I would definitely like to join!

I have 2 books on bag-making, far too much material and have just finished a small clutch bag,(pattern in a sewing magazine) which I'd like another go at as I'm not 100% happy with it.

I also think I have a bag clasp around somewhere ...

Will have to have a rummage, and I'll keep you posted.

Thanks ladies for letting me join.

Wendie thanks, your such a kick! I also like to check out fellow craftster's & see what they have made.

"JessKelly" it's looking pretty cool, can't wait to see what it will look like when done.

"plaidpineapple" Glad to have you along! I like that bag too!

"hax" cute clutch!

"wraithlady" sure glad to have you join us!

Well here are my pics of my TM bag. It started just to be a TCM bag but it wa taking me forever so I had several patches from swaps & personal swaps so I decided to use some of them & still use the ones I made for the TCM bag. I have one side sewn together & just pin the other side. It's going to have sides too. I want it a little bigger inside & have 2 patch pockets & the strap will be able to go over my head. The blue fabric I think will be my lining unless I change my mind.
Here's the pics.

Those last 4 are for pockets I think, so I have to make one to fit in the middle section then the ones that go all around the bag between the front & back.  Some of you might see your quilted patch pillow in there I can't remember who gave what but I sure do love them all.
