Oh, I think I NEED this craftalong!

I want to make a bag from my book Amy Butler's Style Stitches! So far I only made one, but that book has many more I really want to try! So count me in, if you want me  Smiley

WOO HOO!  You're in!

I haven't seen that book yet.  Are the patterns complicated?

Exciting!!

The book has several patterns, easy, hard and very complicated! When you click on the name of the book, you'll go to Amy Butler's website with pictures of the bags in that book.

For me the complication sometimes is that it's all English, hahaha! With every bag I sew, I learn sewing terms I don't even know in Dutch!

Does poptab bags count too? Because in that case I'm in! Smiley

I'd say so!  So long as it's a purse, it's great!  Cheesy  WOO!  I'll add you to the list!

Yay! I've already got the tabs and a great tutorial for the bag I want to make, this pretty thing, so I guess the next step will be yarn-hunting then. And deciding on the colorscheme.

You'll HAVE to show us in-progress pics of that!  It looks so cool!

I want to make doggy face faux leather purses. I have no idea how to explain them but in my head they look awesome.  Grin
They will most probably not look like that when finished. I also want to make up my own pattern.

Woo hoo!  I'm so psyched so many people want to craftalong with us!

And I'm very excited to be making a purse for myself.  I'm the Purses mod but I don't have a purse I've made.  Ironic, no?

Hahaha, that's funny!
You really NEED to have at least one bag made by your lovely self  Grin !!

I want to make this bag:

It is the "Blossom handbag / shoulder bag" and it's diificulty is marked as "advanced" - not sure if I'm that good, hahaha!

I made one bag of this book before, but that was 'intermediate'. It turned out pretty well, but way too small for daily use!  Wink

Some of the bags in that book look HUGE Wendie! I love HUGE bags  Cheesy I'm going to see if I can borrow this from the library as I can't buy it.

I like the one that you have chosen, I'm sure you will be able to make it if you take your time. What fabric are you going to use?
