Just posted another log cabin block for Sparkledust and a 4 patch star for Pearliepie. Wow! A lot of blocks have already been received. Good thing I'm on spring break; need to get my **** in gear! Hope to have everything done before Easter.

I reposted better pics of the blocks I made for sloth.  Now you can see them better.  I hope you like them.

ETA: Tip for making these blocks

I know most, if not all of you, have made sloth's blocks, but I wanted to share a tip in case you are wanting to make more of this block in the future.
When I made my first block, it was perfectly square until I trimmed off the corners and added the white ones.  It is now off a couple hairs (I have decided to let it go since you mentioned in your tutorial not to worry if the blocks are a little off ). 
I wanted the next 2 to come out better, so instead of cutting off the corners and then sewing on the white triangles, I decided to leave the block whole and just mark where I would have cut off the corners.  Then I lined up my white triangles with the marked line and sewed them on.  This way when I ironed the white triangle out I knew if it lined up or not with the original corners (assuming the original was square ).  After making sure it was how I wanted, I went back and trimmed off the original corners.  I was much happier with how this worked out and I felt the block was more stable as I was sewing.

I hope that makes sense and that it helps anyone who decides to make this block.

I received two awesome sets of blocks!!! YAY!  I'm horribly sick so I'll be offline until the weekend unless things turn around here... but I'm so excited!

On a less enthusiastic note, I'm going to have to re-do my wonky stars... I've realized there were some errant cotton/poly blends that stuck into my stack of whites (and I was so careful to check the colors... which is usually where the sneaky ones live!).. so back to square one this weekend...so glad there is a generous crafting time!

Oh, please don't feel like you have to redo them!  It is up to you if you feel you want to make new ones, just know it is not an issue for me.

Am going through withdrawals, told myself no more sewing till I get at least half this silly throw done

*sighs* trying to finish up all started projects before I return to the simply sewing to be sewing aka making blocks and other things for the joy of it LOL

Yay, my gallery is no longer empty!  Just posted the Garden Fence blocks I made for EllaRain -- what a cool block, with so many possibilities.  Do hope we get to see the the top when it's all put together.  Any ideas, EllaR, on how you might quilt it?

Is it OK to send blocks as they're finished per partner (i.e., the three blocks for any one partner), or are we supposed to send them all at the same time?

waterbaby: You can send as you get done per person, or wait and send per group. It is up to you.

I normally send as I get done with a few sets. It helps me keep things together. I don't want to mix up peoples blocks. So as I finish a few sets I will sent out.

Well, since I was so close, I decided to just finish carolmb's final block.
A picture is posted and now I just have to package them all up.
I had a great time with these blocks.  I am so glad I had the time to participate this round.
