As I was strip cutting for angel squares this morning, I cut myself. Rotary cutters are sharp! I'm waiting to get stitches...who says sewing isn't a dangerous sport?

Yikes? I hope it was a fresh blade... at least then the cut will be cleaner. hubby often jokes I have made quilting into an X game event. Quilters are bad asss. Fire and steam from irons, deadly circular blades machines than run needles a billion kms an hour.

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Alas it was not.  Sad  It was still sharp enough to go through my finger nail and hopefully they got the fuzz out when they cleaned it. Wink I seriously didn't think rotaries were that sharp.

We have to use special cutting rulers for a reason Roll Eyes Ever tried using a normal ruler? Slices straight through them.

I was so glad my major cut i was wearing a watch. I went up thru the side of my thumbnail along my thumb, hit my watch band skipped over and around the top of my forearm and didnt slit my wrist open all the way.

The next year for xmas hubs bought me a beautiful bracelet to wear on my right arm.  Just to be safe. Smiley
