It's beautiful, but gosh, I'm starting to think I should've gone with clear white instead of the tan option, to fit in Smiley

I like the added interest of those blocks...breaks up all that white...I also love mixing whites...from pure white to beige white...it really makes for a personal homemade quilt...in my opinion! Cheesy

NO way I love the darker ones thrown in there at random. My daughter said it adds something to it. Makes the eye travel through out the quilt.

I love all the blocks my partners made and each and everyone is in there

well and wonderment

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but there are no two blocks a like, each one is a different color, or different value.

Each of the corner blocks have rainbow mixtures in the colors.

I love the way they all came together.

Now I just have to find something to do a boarder to bring it all together. Am thinking something with a slightly darker cream/tan color and a use the rainbow in it.

well and wonderment

Well, I think I've finally decided on block placement.  My hallway, where I've hung a flannel design panel, is long and narrow, and the only way to get a picture of them all together ends up very forced perspective-y, so I took a snap from each side:

I ended up with 13 blocks, receiving an extra one from donniesgirl which was a color error on a block she'd made for someone else and fit my theme and colors.  It ended up being part of the arrangement I like best, and the one official block that's not shown here, from EllaRain, will either be featured on the back of the finished quilt, or it might just find its way onto a tote bag and get lots more public exposure!

Now I just have to decide what to use for sashing and borders....

Oh I like the layout. It is fun to see it all together.

As I was strip cutting for angel squares this morning, I cut myself. Rotary cutters are sharp! I'm waiting to get stitches...who says sewing isn't a dangerous sport?
