Ooh me too! I was just thinking yesterday that I was going to make it myself, since it was one of my favorites. Smiley

I finished the last of my blocks this morning and put them in the gallery. I will be sending after I have lunch out with my husband. Sent!

Finished Homerof2's and it's in the gallery and will post on my lunch hour tomorrow. Unfortunately KBrison's almost done, one more to go but will have to wait til the end of the week to post out because I have a 3 year wedding anni to celebrate.

I keep peeking at this thread to see everyone's wonderful ideas. I am in wonder, do i split the blocks up or keep them in rows per partner? So far they do balance out colour wise both ways so I'm torn.

happy stitching all x

Congratulations on the anniversary, Sparkledust!

I haven't even thought about how I'll arrange my blocks. I like the idea of keeping them together by quilter, but until I see them all I'm not going to worry about that. Cheesy Haven't decided whether to stitch blocks together directly or whether to use sashing strips to separate the blocks. Too many decisions to make right now. Have to wait until school is out and my head has time to focus on something other than grading papers.

Thanks for the well wishes for my little one- I cannot believe how awful this sickness is. We're taking him back to the doctor tomorrow because I just don't feel like he's getting any better.

But! Right now he's finally sleeping so I'm off to sew some blocks!

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

the echidna looks wonderfully scaly combined with the water print Cheesy

Thanks -- that's just what I was hoping for!

waterbaby, glad to see someone made the echidna - great job!

Thank you!

I really wanted you to get as many different blocks as possible, and since nobody was biting at this one I decided to give it a go.

PS - There are five different fabrics among all those little triangles, and it was quite fun working row by row to try and come up with a good distribution and layout of the yellows among the whites.

Here are all my blocks together. I love how bright and colorful they are!
Still considering how I want to put them together and if I want to make some more blocks so I have a bigger quilt.

Just a few more blocks to go then I shall have enough to do the queen size shoo fly. Once I get the top done I will post an image here. When all done and quilted will post in finished quilts

well and wonderment

I think I am having a lack of sewing/crafting purpose depression here.  I have waiting a long, long time before jumping back into the swap area and now realize how much I like that push.  knowing that I have a deadline, knowing that it is for someone else so I need to follow directions and watch those corners and points....  Stretching to do new blocks and color combos has reminded me that I like doing tougher projects and to trust my instincts.  Right now I go look at my pinwheels on the design board before work every morning, love them!  They make me happy Smiley
thanks for a great swap everyone!!

Thanks for the well wishes, it's been nice just to get some time together Smiley

I've finished your blocks and uploaded them on Pg 2 of the gallery so hoping that'll be enough you can start making some decisions on the quilt! Unfortunately the post office isn't open on a Sunday so I'll leg it down there after work on Monday. Thanks for your patience x
