On  a random side not, I am really glad I got put in the donniesgirl's blue and white group.  I never realized just how many blue fabrics I had in my stash.

I'm in the yellow and white group, which made me realize I have a serious yellow deficiency Only two properly yellow fabrics! (On a side-note, this has given me a huge excuse to go on a shopping spree next craft faire, and collect yellows, browns and strong pinks.. I don't like pink, but I know people who do, and your stash needs to be varied!)

That is why i love this swap EllaRain with each one I do I gain skill and grow. I have learned so much each of two I have been in.

I have been able to try blocks I would not of dared on my own LOL.

Just posted sloth's blocks. Sorry it is not the best pic, I used my hubby's iPad which I am not used to (I think they look better in real life).
Anyway, hope you like them.

Your blocks are what decided me to join. Even though I wasn't paired with you, I knew I'd be inspired by seeing what others in the swap did with these block techniques.

I have a few more marked to try. Would like to make the whole quilt in the future.

That is one of the reasons I keep signing up for this swap the fact I grow each time.

I wanted to make yours very much and that's why I tackled them first.  Yeah one didn't turn out but that's okay, I found others to try.  I had seen these before and they intrigued me so I'm glad I had the chance.

I am annoyed with myself. I got one person's color preference mixed up with another person's blocks. Grr

You are not the only one! My mistake is that I made up a block and finished two before I realized that no one had requested it

Oh well- Looks like I get some new pillows for the couch!
