That tissue box is a work of art.
Dang, everything is so cool! I am blown away by all the amazing crafts in the gallery.

I got my package from bookstorebabe yesterday, but my Dad kidnapped the mail and put it in his semi, so I didn't get it til last night. It was totally worth the wait, though!

The very first thing I found was my very own raygun!

I love the colors, and the copper wire coils are too cool. Unfortunately, I had to request a purely decorative gun, because our two new puppies love to steal anything that isn't screwed down Tongue

(Now I have to include puppy thumbnails, just for fun Tongue Dante is a handsome German-Lab mix, and Rocket Sprocket is a mix of some kind of terrier, possibly bulldog, and some sort of miniature tiger)

ANYway, I then got to the coolest box:

I love that marbling effect you did, bookstorebabe. I might have to ask for the secret!

Inside the box were two awesome memo books. Bookstorebabe says they were an experiment, so I'm guessing she rebound them?

There were also two tiny extras inside. A raygun keychain, and a NON-wearable (shhh Roll Eyes) key pin:

THEN (yes, there is more!) I found another sweet box. I always need places to store little findings and such, so this is perfect:

And last but not least, this cute picture frame. I can't say where the picture is from, but maybe bookstorebabe can tell us:

I can now say I am the proud owner of a little steampunk supply stash. Here it is, with my new boxes helping out:

I included it because most of my new stash is courtesy of our super wonderful organizer, Craftsunderground. Right at the beginning of the swap, I got a little package in the mail, stuffed with steampunky bits to help me along. How cool is that !?! She'll have a little crafty surprise in her mailbox sometime soon as a thank-you Tongue

Thanks, bookstorebabe! The package was awesome, and I really enjoyed swapping with you! I hope you like your stuff as much as I like mine Grin

I've so glad you liked everything! The frame was a shiny silver plastic one I bought for a dollar, that I first painted black, then used a ton of spanish copper rub and buff, and a little copper paint. The picture is just something from my paper stash. I think it came from a college brochure. It was just plain black and white, and I carefully added a little color to make it look like an old time tinted photograph. It was a last minute addition because the frame didn't look right empty, and it needed something until you put in a picture of your own.
Your puppies are so cute!
You were fun to swap with, even if I did kill two clocks in a row. Grin

Bookstorebabe, that's a great package. I love the ray gun and how you finished the box and set of drawers. I think I need a ray gun, maybe I could start with a cute little one like the key chain  Cheesy. It's a shame your clocks didn't work out, I know how tricky those clock mechanisms and hands can be, but I am impressed that you could so quickly produce other such great items.

Leather and Lace, You are developing an envious Steampunk stash. I am glad I could contribute.

I'm really starting to worry about my second package now Sad Both were posted by DeathToLems at the same moment last Monday, and I got the first one on Wednesday, but now another week has passed and there's no sign of the second package ... I hope it will still come!

I was thinking about that yesterday and went through my PMs thinking I might have missed your notice that you received it. Fingers crossed that it will arrive soon. Packages can sometimes take a long time.

I love the marbled box.

I received from dustyfro the other day. Prepare to Pin! Wink

First, an altered art piece:

My absolute favorite thing, a steampunk teesha moore style pillow cover!

the embroidery is awesome dustyfro! I love all the gears, the buttons, everything. It fit a pillow form I had perfectly! Also, I didn't take a picture, but she used cute little hooks to hold the back together.

Finally, a piece that didn't make it, a clock:

dustyfro, if you could post a pic of it before you sent, I will glue it all back together.

I was so spoiled. Thanks so much dustyfro! Hopefully, your packages should be there today. Smiley

Dustyfro, the altered art is great. That gauge !!! I love your style and I can't wait to see the clock restored. I just love the asymetry and the industrial bits. And that Teesha Moore inspired pillow cover is just lovely. Very nice stitching on every patch. I am making myself one, but I only have a few patches so far. So if you ever get bored, you could make me some.... Wink
Wonderful package.

Oh, I like. The altered art is so cool, and I love the Teesha Moore style pillow! I'm looking forward to seeing the clock restored, too.
I received from Leather and Lace today! I'll post pictures tonight, she spoiled me!
