I found the owl and the tiger on sale at Wally's for 3 bux today. I do not have a serger, though. Did you just cut away the excess from the sides and taper it at the waist?

yep thats just what I did . My serger is down for repairs right now Sad so I used a simple wide zig zag stitch then went over that with a straight stitch to lock the seems good and tight . I often use zig zag in place of serging , and it works really good for creating a nice finished looking seam you just have to trim the extra material off by hand

Ugh, this dress is just perfection! I'm going to have to keep my eye out for massive shirts so I can make one just like yours! ^__^

My memory isn't as sharp as this sword. I don't remember if I posted my owl dress/tunic. A pal actually sewed it up for me before I got my serger.

She put stretch lace on as cuffs on the 3/4 sleeves and edged the neckline with it as well.

The sword is pretty dull, actually. Smiley
