My daughter started preschool with a little boy and 3 days later he became sick and was diagnosed with leukemia. He just turned 5. The school has an art show each year with an auction to raise money for the preschool playground etc. The teachers approached me about making a large item to be auctioned off and the money from it go to this little guys family. I am thinking quilt but don't know what pattern or colors but I would make other items but I need ideas. Thanks

As far as colors go, does the family of the little boy know that you guys are trying to fundraiser for them?  If so, find out what the little boys favorite color is.

Or, you could go with the color that represents hope for people with leukemia ...like pink represents breast cancer.

Good luck!  I would love to hear what you decide on!
