I liked the selvedge of this fabric, so I decorated the flower and the handle with it.

No pattern used, the body of the purse is made of two rectangles, one for the fabric and one for the lining. The purse is gathered at to top with elastic.
The dimensions without seam allowance are

fabric: 24 inches wide and 12 inches long
lining:  24 inches wide and 6 inches long

The difference between the length of the fabric and the lining is because when sewn together you turn 3 inches of the fabric to the inside of the bag to make the tunnel.

The purse has one seam at the center back and another one at the bottom. It also has corners at the side.
