I have two hummingbird feeders on my apartment balcony and there are at least three ruby-throated hummingbirds that visit regularly (possibly more, but I've only seen three at a time and I am kind of speciesist in that I think they all look alike).  I want them to visit my feeders forever, but since it's about time for them to migrate I settled for the next best thing - immortalizing one of them in craft.

I haven't done any cross stitching in years, but it's pretty easy to pick back up.  I used this free pattern and made a little cloudy frame for him.

He's pretty small.

Ruby throated hummingbirds are all we get around here (eastern Canada), I love your little picture of one. You've captured his essence perfectly.

Besides crows, hummingbirds are my favorite. We get Anna hummingbirds all year round here. They are so wonderful.

I can't believe how tiny that stitching is! Great job! My eyes would have gone crossed.
