Got a chocolate melter set with a few molds a couple years back and have just never had the chance to use them aka "meh, not today, maybe another holiday" lol.  Decided that another year wasn't going to pass me by and so made some chocolates!
I used my melter pot and just put in dark chocolate chips.  I did try to get as pure as I could at the local store, I figured they'd be average but the taste was superb.  I'm not a milk chocolate fan at all, but I adored the dark.  Anyway, just melted it and then put them in the molds, swirling it up the sides.  Let those set and then filled them with a peanut butter like filling.  I didn't measure anything, just added a pat or two of butter then a scoop of peanut butter and poured in powdered sugar until I liked the consistency and the flavor.

Filled them the rest of the way up and then let them harden! Oh they were so good.  DH even took some to work and by 8am I had a call that all his friends had swiped some and loved them.  I had the wrappers from other projects and thought they'd be perfect for that authentic look.

I also had some old Valentine's boxes stuffed in my craftroom from last year I was trying to think of something to craft with them.  They came out and made fancy Valentine's!  Looks direct from a store, but for less than $4 for them all and dark chocolate too!

I still had chocolate left over, so what to do?  Lick it out of the bowl?  Naw, chocolate strawberries!  These were $1.50 each at the local store made in milk chocolate.  No thank you.

That's it!  Was a very delicious Valentine's Day!
Thanks for looking  Cheesy

Yumm!  They all look so tasty, and the strawberries look too pretty to eat.
