Topic: can anyone tell me what this quilt pattern is called?  (Read 1230 times)

I got the idea from a display in Home Depot.  Tricked EQ into going along with it, by making the diagonal "block" two inches and the "sashing" four inches.  
It should be pretty easy even for a beginner like me...
If I knew what the pattern was called I could google for other examples!

Hmm, that's interesting. I've been looking up Snowball patterns because it's a bit like a Snowball. This quilt here kind of looks like it in the second picture (although of course yours has the middle square).
