... at least I thought I wouldn't do anything with a galaxy print or pattern until I started to paint glass cabochons with nailpolish. Suddenly I had that weird idea to try a galaxy design and I couldn't stop after that.
Galaxies everywhere!

My favorite so far:

And another nailpolish project: a new choker ^^

These are absolutely beautiful. Would you mind sharing how you got the galaxy effect? It's okay if you'd rather not. The necklace you posted is also lovely! Hmm....I do have a ton of nail polish! I might have to play with this too, it looks like fun.

These turned out quite beautiful. I love the galaxy thing that's happening right now but it's not often it's done well. Your necklaces instantly read as galaxy.

I've been thinking about writing a tutorial for these, but this might take some time.
I use clear glass cabochons and paint them from the backside, starting with the highlights and finishing with the background, but I guess it's easier to explain with progress pictures.

i was going to ask who your supplier for bezels is? they're lovely and set off the cabochons so well.
I'll PM you in a minute Wink

I was thinking the exact same thing. They look great! I'd love to know who your bezel supplier is as well. It can be so hard to find nice ones, the ones with the stars are so pretty, never even seen that design before.

That's really gorgeous.  I can't get over the colors and it really does look like a galaxy in a bead.  Wonderful!

I love these both the galaxy pendants and the jewelry set are beautiful.  I love them and its hard to believe both effects were created using nail polish.

Beautiful! I love making nail polish jewelry too, but I haven't tried galaxy designs yet (just on my nails). This makes me want to start!
