Can I mix fimo clay with kato liquid clay

I am fairly new to ploymer clay but love using it. I am reading a lot about fimo decorative gel and would like to try some but cannot buy it locally, and it seems rare on line to. So can I mic fimo clay with kato liquid polymer clay? I have tried other brands but like fimo best for making jewlery and covering pens etc.

You can really mix all brands. I use liquid sculpey and premo, sculpey III, and fimo mixed all the time.  Different clays and brands have different properties.  Have you checked glassattic.com? There's soooo much there. Lots of great info.

First, the brand of liquid polymer clay made by the manufacturers of Fimo (Fimo Liquid Decorating Gel, or Deko Gel, etc) has been discontinued.  You may see old stock of it here and there, but generally it won't be available.
There are two other brands of liquid polymer clay still available though, the Sculpey one and the Kato one (which is clearer, thinner, more heat-resistant, etc).  All brands of liquid polymer clay can be mixed with all brands and lines of polymer clay though, and all brands/lines of solid polymer clay can also be mixed together (resulting in a new mix with characteristics proportional to the amount of each clay used).

They are still making Fimo liquid clay I just saw yesterday they changed the name and are calling it something else instead of liquid gel, so it is still available but yes you can mix any of the polymer clays.
