I was going to throw out this white sweater because it fit weird and the sleeves were too short. But I can't bring myself to get rid of any clothes right now because of how few of the items in my wardrobe actually fit.... so I used the sweater as the top of this dress. The bottom is a heavy upholstery fabric I've had forever, just made a simple dirndl skirt and added some elastic where I attached the top and bottom, created a scalloped hem, and we have one more dress to get us through the next 2 months! I am really sorry you can see my bra through the top in the pictures. Too lazy to do anything about it.

I agree, you don't look pregnant from the front and that dress is cute. Smiley Good job.

I guess the volume in the skirt hides it a little bit... I'm seven months pregnant! Thanks guys :-)

Lovely recon. I'm so glad you managed to salvage a bit of the knitted top. It looks very pretty and the scalloped hem goes well with the lacy bodice.
