I have wanted to make one of these for soooo long, and I finally got around to it. I cut out a rectangle template from a cereal box and then used that to cut through both layers of shirts at once (except for the Oasis tour tshirt bc I wanted the front art and the back tour dates separately). After I finished I couldnt decide if I liked it, but I think it was due to the musty smell from the (clean) shirts sitting in a box for so long. Rewashed and sorta ironed, and with the right outfit I kinda like it. I only wish it was a tad more colorful, which made me realize we must have a drab wardrobe! Cheesy

Thanks for looking! Smiley

I really love this, and think I will make one too.
I have a bunch of t-shirts ready to be cut up to make a braided rug and did't want to use the graphics on them so this is a great solution for me. Thanks for posting!  Smiley

Really cute scarf, Beth, and a great way to recycle t shirts you don't want to toss!

It looks great!
p.s. EEK! Oasis tour shirt! I got a similar one when I saw them in 1998, only to have it stolen from the movie theatre where I worked about three weeks later!

That stinks! That is actually shirt 1 out of 2, my husband wore it so much it got really thin, so a year later I ordered him a new one online (they still had them!).

What a great idea! I like the results even if it is not colorful.

OMG, this is such a great idea!! I was thinking I'd have to learn how to quilt to use up all my dinosaur t-shirts! It looks fantastic, and I think it's plenty colorful Smiley
