I always thought the desire demons from Dragon Age were so cool.  I got a Monster High create-a-monster kit for Christmas and thought I could do a custom remake.  So here we have it- sea monster to desire demon.

For reference, here is a desire demon

Just a bald sea monster

And finished!

What do you desire?

Comments AND CRITICISM welcome!  This is my first custom MH doll and I'd like honest feedback.

Looks great!! I'm in the middle of a Monster High remodel too, they're a great starting point for doll modification I think.  I found with face-ups, if I wasn't getting the eyes looking in the same direction, use a mirror to find where it's "strange".  As soon as I look at a face in a mirror I can see where it isn't quite right, which makes it a lot easier to fix.  I'm not familiar with the character (or Dragon Age at all for that matter), but it looks like the clothing of the original character is a bit darker and more purple, and I think that yours could benefit from the clothing being a little less "obvious".. are you able to dye it?

Ill weave your names into my ribcage; lock your hearts inside my chest.
Regain the passion I once carried; do away with all the rest.
I tore the sickness from your bodies; smashed its head against the bricks.
I made a castle from its bones that you may always dwell in it.

Thanks everyone! I got the horns and tail online from Plastic Curves. I can only take credit for painting them. Smiley
