I am not sure if this is the right place, but I would like to share with you photos of these beautiful wooden toys of Croatia - tradition that dates back in the 19th century: crafters were very active even 200 years ago. The method of their production was passed on from generation to generation in some families and has been kept to this day. The peculiarity is that they are handmade by men and mostly painted by women. In the year 2009 UNESCO  declared them as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. If you are near Zagreb, visit Etnographic museum and the exhibition: World of toys where you can see more of them.

No, I didn't (unfortunately). These toys are examples of Croatian traditional wooden toys that are still handmaded, and currently there is an exhibition of those toys in Zagreb.
