looks great! I need to make a new coin bra, mine is disintegrating. Sad Sweat is not kind to fabric. Gross but true. I just have a hard time finding a base that I like. Did you stiffen the cups? Is it going to be a halter strap?

Thanks!  I should have picked a better bra...this was a cheapie WalMart special, but the cups started out super stiff, so that was a bonus.  I did reinforce them, though, because I knew I wanted to put a lot of fringe on, and didn't want them to collapse.  They're each lined with craft weight interfacing that's sewn in, and the straps are the same interfacing and a layer of duck.  I'm 90% sure I'm going to do cross back straps on it, to give me a faux-halter line, without putting the weight on my neck.  I'll sew them in the back and then put hooks in the front, which is my absolute FAVORITE trick for getting in and out of a bra easily, on my own.

Nice work!  Would love to see it finished. Are you making a belt to match?

Thanks!  I am!  I ran out of one of the bead types, but the bra is substantially complete.  I even went ahead and lined it.  I just want to add a few more strands of straight fringe to one of the cups.  I plan on starting the belt this month, when I get the same beads!
