so my parents went to some place yesterday where they had people selling handmade jewelry and whatnot.  she picked up this necklace that has a pendant made from 2 Arizona state quarters.  that was cool.  what wasn't cool was that it looked like it was strung on a piece of hemp with a crow bead, and that just made it look cheap.  she said I could have the necklace, and I said thank you, but I'll be putting it on a chain.  I'm pretty proud of how this turned out.

sorry about how washed out it looks.  Undecided  but you can see in the heart that it's an Arizona quarter, there's a rising sun and a cactus.  I of course had to make matching earrings.  the turquoise were just some cute little square beads that I got from random people that just happened to be the EXACT same beads.  amazing how that worked out.

with only 12 turquoise necklaces, I don't think I have enough of them.  Cheesy

Fancy!  I really like what you did with it.  The turquoise is a great accent, and too perfect for Arizona too!

I feel one can never have TOO many turquoise and silver necklaces either.  Wink

thanks!

ever since it was decided that Arizona was going to be my new home, I've been obsessed with turquoise.  Tongue  most of my jewelry is turquoise/silver, but I do have one necklace I made from turquoise and antiqued copper.  I need more like that now too.
