Although it doesn't tend to show, my favorite subjects to paint are animals with a fantasy or surreal spin to them.
Meet Mr. Jackalope, with non-traditional kudu horns instead of the usual pronghorn-style horns.

I painted this as a gift for a friend that made me the most INCREDIBLE hand-made sketch book. The thing feels like there is magic inside, like the contents are recipes for spells and magic potions. Tehee.

I love this!  I'm also a bit shocked that somehow we're on the same wavelength!  I have a painting jackalope painting I've been planning since I was in Texas last March.  Next weekend I'm doing a live painting demo as part of a fundraiser and figured it would be the perfect time to do my jackalope painting!

I guess great minds think alike!

Thanks! A very small brush.  Cheesy
I'm not entirely sure which specific size it is, but its a simple small round. Paint covers most of the writing now
