Meet my Saltwater Kraken! This group is featured in the Spring 2013 issue of Stuffed Magazine! Please check them out if you get a chance, the magazine is beautifully shot and they look AMAZING! Very proud. You may remember my Freshwater Kraken http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=412250.0 from previous post. Anyways, These guys are the original version from which I derived the pattern from. These guys are made from felt and coated in a crusty, scaly solution of my own making that make them more like soft action figures then plushies. Pictured are the adult, juvenile, and larval stages. I also fashioned all the accessories. I will be making several for adoption this spring summer and hope to take them to a few craft shows/craft seller marts very soon. Hope you guys like em'!

These are awesome!  I love their eyes and the placement of them on their heads (does that sound weird?).  Congrats on the magazine feature! Well deserved.  Rocked it.  Grin

Congrats on the mag! I love that magazine and I'm excited the spring issue is out. Been long waiting for it, and can't wait to see your plushies in it!!!

They're so cute! Reminds me a bit of the gremlins of the movies long ago. Great work Smiley

Haha, I remember the other lines you did, I still have them on my wist Smiley
While I'm not a fan of the over all look of the little ones, I NEED one of those adults! Cheesy They are amazing looking. And I really want to hold one and see what they feel like with this mystery solution of yours painted over then. Yet again I find myself saying amazing job on the plushies!
