I finally have scans of two more paintings I completed during my residency last summer.  These were meant to be studies for some ideas I was putting together for my thesis work.  They just weren't what I needed for thesis so I set them aside until recently when I needed work to submit for a juried show.  I submitted one of them fully expecting it to be rejected but it was accepted AND it won an award! 

Both are oil on birch panel.

Fabulous...the first one really shows your understanding of shadows and light...
