So my mailbox exploded last night when I got home... with awesomeness.

I don't know what I did to deserve all these incredible things but I am seriously feeling so lucky right now. Every card I've received has been just brilliant and these are no exception. I am in awe of the talent!!

Please forgive my photo heaviness, I seriously was flipping out over all three of these cards. lol

First up, Susie Apple. The card that my swap card was in was a hand drawn illustration warning me of what was ahead.

And then the ATC for my ridiculously cute/kawaii theme. She did not disappoint! This card is TRIPLE awesome because it fits my theme, it includes chips n salsa (my fave) AND the frame looks like a polaroid and I'm a photo nerd, so that gave me the squeals.
How strange, my arms were doing this exact happy dance when seeing these cards...

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!! An extra in that groovy Susie style for my bird theme and some ATC paper goodness!


*swoon* Okay, on to a card from La Chapa for my Ghibli theme.
First, the gorgeous paper cut card it was tucked inside of.

Then I opened it up and began squealing loudly, so my husband walked up and began squealing like a girl in a manly way right along side me. He then threatened to steal it and I gave him the evil eye. BEHOLD THE CUTE!!

The stars are collaged on and I LOVE THE GOOGLY EYES! lol AHH!


I almost forgot I had another card, but then I wondered what this bubble envelope was doing in my hand and I came back to my senses. lol

This one was from little circles. Let me just say in advance that I quit quilling. Her pieces just blow me away regularly. When I saw how thick the package was, I about flipped. Could this be? Did *I* get a little circles quilling piece? I ripped open the bubble mailer, and found this inside. An unassuming hibiscus card that reminded me that she lives in Hawaii. Oooh! Sparkles! hehe

So I opened it. slipped the card out of the bubble wrap and my husband and I just both stared at each other in disbelief with our jaws on the floor. This geisha is stunning!

Here is my very awesome Dewey card from Chameleonhound.  Our handsome boy Dewey is 14 years old, he has a brain tumor but is still kickin' it with us for now.  I wanted to start collecting these sooner rather than later to make a tribute/memorial.

Thank you Chameleonhound, he is absolutely gorgeous, as he should be!

littlecircles, you already know that I'm a huge fan, because I comment on nearly everything you post, but I have to say that the geisha is awesome!

LauraM, so glad you like the soot sprites!  I was inspired by a bag of googly eyes that I saw, but was a little out of my comfort zone with that piece.  Most of my pieces have a lot more drawn-in detail & I was a little insecure about sending, so I'm stoked that you appreciate its simplicity.  Also, I got a pack of those paper-cut cards at Michael's for 5o cents!  I thought they'd be great for this swap because of their potential as an ATC component for those who like to layer & collage.  If you hurry they may still have some!

I received two very cool ATCs today!

From KittyHerman for my Walking Dead theme:

"Run, Rick, Run!"

Along with the awesome little hand-colored(painted?) mini envelope, which will most likely revisit the ongoing atc forums as an ATC background.   
Parts of the ATC look a little blurry because it is a 3-D piece!  Rick is actually coming out of the card, and it looks so awesome!  I scanned it, & so couldn't get the whole thing in focus, but please, KittyHerman, feel free to post a clearer picture if you have one.

AND, for my Famous Monsters ABC collection, a Werewolf from Toralune:

Something about the ability to turn into a powerful and wild animal is somehow alluring to me, and so werewolves have always been some of my favorite monsters.

Today I received cards for themes I don't get claimed for very often...

From chameleonhound for my Pee-Wee(most favorite person ever!) theme...
Everything about Pee-Wee makes me smile...this is a great line from him.


From Susieapples for my Elliott Smith(another one of my favorite people..)theme..
Elliott is my favorite singer/songwriter...I've listened to him for years and I just can't quit...
I love how you illustrated his lyrics..

And an extra...Grumpy Cat!!!
