What an incredible gallery!!

I've received from KittyHerman!!

A elegant, spooky owl ATC, and in the other picture is the cute, handmade ATC envelope she made and the pretty, sparkly card she sent!!!
Thank you so much, KittyHerman!

Love the spooky owl!

One more tip on mailing, sometimes our precious little atc's suspiciously feel like a gift card in the envelope.  I try to remember to print ART MAIL ENCLOSED on the back in hopes that some stinker won't open it to see what great gift card it contains.  No offense Chameleon, lots of postal workers are awesome, but when you live in a sketchier neighborhood, like where people drive off with the blue postal box chained to their car these tips can be helpful.  lol

That's true, some people are sketchy. However, messing with mail will get the feds all up in your business (no joke, they're VERY serious about mail). When I started working there, they told us all kinds of stories...

And I don't feel too brave. They're the second-largest non-military employer in the US, so I try not to take anything personally. Wink And besides, with odds like that, I doubt I'm the only crafter on Craftster that works there!

In other news, that owl is fantastic, and the card is really pretty too! I wonder, though, why are they showing up as marked as "mature"?

I finally got pictures of my very lovely ATCs I've received so here they are!

First up I got two ATCs from blupaisan for two different themes. One was a thumb piano to start my Musical Instruments ABCs theme (love how she picked something a bit less obvious, too!), and the other started off my Opera theme with an ATC based on Aida. Cheesy

I also received a gorgeous ATC of Doctor Ten for my Doctor Who theme. Sorry for the glare from the protective sleeve, but hopefully you can still see how amazing her drawing skills are here. Cheesy (Also yay for starting the theme with my favorite doctor!)

So glad you like him! I haven't seen the show yet, but the new doctor looks like a creeper to me, so I thought I would draw this one. haha Tongue

What a neat Thumb Piano! I never would have thought of that! Not seeing the opera card, though!

If there was a patch for ATC addiction, I would probably try to decorate it and mail it to someone.

Well, the February ATC Swap has just been swell. I'll either be back late March or April. I try not to juggle more than one swap at a time. Onwards to some fabulous cards.

Gozer sent me a gorgeous card for my "Whimsical and Vintage" theme. Her collarbones and arms are so well shaded and drawn- I just couldn't stop staring at her.

And then ChameleonHound sent me a very mood setting card for my "Lyrics Inspired" theme. I can feel the heat on my back and the song in my head instantly when I look at this card, inspired by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' song "Man on Fire". ALSO, her card was made from a real cool map, so I'm including that too.

As usual, thanks everyone for something real nice to look forward to when I come home!
