It is not a stamp, but a transfer. I've always had a little bit of difficulty with this technique. I showed my boyfriend the Bill Murray ATC a million times before I sent it out, because I was convinced it didn't turn out well. ALSO, I have some awesomeness to just throw on into this awesome pile we're creating. LauraM sent me a really great ATC for my "lyrics inspired" theme. She picked a great song off of one of my favorite albums by The White Stripes. And even if you aren't familiar with The White Stripes, this is still a way cool card. It reminded me a little of The Rocky Horror Picture show lips (which I love RHPS), so A++.

I got the cutest card today from kittyherman for my "animal group names" theme!  I need to claim a couple of folks who've claimed me and sent me some awesome cards.  I'll have to wait till some of my swaps get closed (Feb ATC, maybe); I have 5 open right now though three are complete from my side awaiting receipt, gallery postings, notices from partners, etc.  I am so lucky to have gotten claimed by such amazing artists

Allow me to present...  A PRICKLE of Porcupines!  Isn't that awesome?!


I love the layering of everything - the watercolors in the background, the ink & watercolors on the porcupines, not to mention each porcupine is it's own separate layer, making it a slightly 3-D effect!

I had to share the super cute card and mini envelope that the ATC came in.  My heart jumped with joy at the sweet hello kitty and "ATC mail" on the outside of the envelope when I picked up the mail.  <3

Well I got an ATC in the mail from chameleonHand a couple days ago but my camera went MIA :/ So I had to go borrow my dads camera. Behold, two of my pets on one card Very cute, thanks.

This is one of the merriest pirates I've ever seen. I love him! And though I don't have any other pirates yet, I do have some mermaids from a previous swap to keep him company. Maybe that's why he's so happy.
