I received two a-mazing cards from llisaredd today!!  The first, above is for Spring is Coming!  It is so awesome!!  I love every little thing about it. It features a bulb sprouting. There are so many great details... the cut-out bulb(s), how the green is just barely peeking out into the air, the cool string roots, the bits of rock below, and to top it off, the bits of frosty snow layered at the top of the dirt... gentle little sparkles which I hope show up in the photo... Title is Seasonal Hope. What I feel so much as this time of year, each year.

Then for my Luna Moth,

This is equally as wonderful, with lots of cool details, an origami moth, very acurate with the pink antennae and everything!! And a bit of paper sort of like wax paper to show the fuzzy effect of the upper body.  And a full moon, silver and wonderful, and just peeking out over the edges of the night. Man, I love these details!
Thank you sooo much, llisaredd. You did a bang-up job on both!!

I love the spring one, especially since it's snowing here right now. (Ugh) And the origami on that luna moth must have been super tiny and challenging!

I wrote a post with these over the weekend but I'm not seeing them, so I'm posting again! Hopefully I'm not double posting, but I want to make sure everyone sees the awesomeness that I received from Toralune and Artmomto5!!

I received this awesome Maya for my Phoenix Wright theme from Toralune. This is the first card I've received for this theme and she's my favorite support character, so it's pretty fitting that she's the one I got! Toralune perfectly captured Maya with a simple, but beautiful portrait. This is probably my favorite video game, so this card is extra special to me. Thank you so much, Toralune. I love it!



Next up, I received a super COOL card hidden inside of this sweet vintage bear card of bonus coolness! Artmomto5 picked my Pop Art theme and crossed it with my famous monsters theme for a Warhol-esque piece of Frankenstein's monster! How neat is that?? I flipping love the bold colors and the glossy paper she used. It makes it feel even more like a poster, which fits the theme perfectly!

Oh wow! Love the Seasonal Hope and Luna moth card by llisaredd! Very cool.

And the Andy Warhol Frankenstein is giving me pangs of jealousy.  Any chance there will be an edition? I'm only half joking.

I received this lovely Billie Holiday card from llisaredd.  It's called "Lady Day" and it expresses exactly what I love so much about Billie Holiday.  She was such a sentimental romantic.  It has lyrics from the song "Don't Explain."  Thanks llisaredd, I love it!
