The United States Post Office no longer offers Delivery Confirmation (DCs), but they do offer USPS Tracking, which is essentially the same thing. It's actually easier, because there are no forms to fill out. When you take your package to the desk, just ask for tracking, and they will include it in your postage for a 90 cent charge. The receipt they give you will include a number that is easily tracked on the USPS website.

So from now on, USPS Tracking will be required on all swap packages mailed within the US. Remember, this is for your protection in case your package goes missing, and is a requirement!

Thanks, and happy swapping.  Smiley

my post office says tracking is only on priority or express mail, not on first class mail.

OTOH, the USPS website says tracking is 90cents on first class mail.

So.... either the website is wrong, or there's some more training needed (I'm leaning to the 'training needed' side of the equation)

More training. I've gotten tracking on first class mail at my po.

You could work there, no further training needed then  Wink

Sounds so familiar, sometimes I need to tell the folks working at the PO that I REALLY need a custom service form when I send outside Europe! And then I can tell them how it looks like  Roll Eyes
