So… I made a thing.
Being broke, I wanted to make something entirely from stash. I was halfway the project before I realized I didn't have any end caps for a beaded tube in my stash, this being the first time I made one. So... I improvised! The "end caps" you see here were made from the metal top parts of ballpoint pens, which I salvaged because I thought they might come in handy some day. (I guess they did!)
The pattern is called Russian Spiral, and it's surprisingly quick to make. Really a "minimal effort, maximal effect" sort of thing. I love it and will definitely be making more!

A very pretty necklace.   I actually think the ball point pen tips make very attractive end caps. How serendipitous.  I love the beads you used too, it makes the necklace look very light.
