19 Minutes is one of my favorite books by Jodi Picoult.  If you end up liking that one I also recommend My Sister's Keeper.

The postal gods were good to deathbeforedishes and I this time, and I got a lovely package in the mail.



I am so excited to finally read Angela's Ashes, it's been on my to-read list for something like 10 years!  Talk about never getting around to reading something, haha.  The button that isn't quite showing up is an adorable little worm...a BOOK worm.   Sorry about the bad pictures, my camera is kind of on the nearly-dead side.  Unfortunately you can't really see the cool bookmarks, one is an elastic with pretty beads (in one of my favorite shades of purple, I might add) and the other has an adorable mini book.

And just LOOK at that beautiful needlework.  No, seriously.  LOOK!



I love it, love it, love it!  I love Poe, I love The Raven (of course), I love blackwork, I love lace...really this is about as good as it gets.

Yay!  I am sooooo happy that the package arrived this time!

I started crocheting the pouch to put the book I bought for theatreorchid in, but the book was way too big and I had already finished the bag by the time I bought the book. I still wanted to send it, so I decided that it could be to hold pens or high lighters (or even a smaller book.)

I put my books in my purse all of the time and I hate when my purse items damage my book, so I made one of those for me a little while ago, but sometimes I just use it to toss pens and mirrors in and such...

If theatreorchids camera doesn't cooperate, I may have a closer pic at home. I work until 6pm EST, so I won't be able to post it until later tonight.  Don't you hate it when work gets in the way?
