I LOVE my items received from danlynn.  The bookbag, bookmark and bag are a beautiful set.  I can't believe that the book bag is a "Medium" item - it certainly should be a "Large", imho.

I can't wait to start the book and I will bring the bag to work tomorrow, to show it off to my colleagues.

Thank you so much - I can tell that you put a great deal of thought and effort into my items and I feel blessed.

Keep on craftin'!
Jennifer

Oh, danlynn, what an incredibly beautiful bag!  The origami crane, echoing the book cover, is so pretty, and the bookmark with matching fabric is great.  I love how the whole package works together. So, so nice!

I was thrilled to get a great package from pcollins yesterday.  He sent me Farenheit 451, which is fabulous.  I'm a big scifi fan but skipped some of the classics because I've always focused on scifi by women, and I definitely wanted to go back and read this.

for the Bookmark he made this great robot (I love robots!!!) from cut paper shapes, very clever and well done, I really like it.

and for the main item this very cool framed art piece of cut paper.  The picture does not do it justice, it's layers for perspective with great colour and I love the figure done with newspaper or book pages.  It captures the look of the cover perfectly.  Pcollins said this was a first try at a new technique and I would say it turned out fabulous, definitely do more!  This is already up on my wall.

Thanks so much for everything pcollins, it was great swapping with you!

This swap should be called the Awesome Bag Swap!  Everyone's making such gorgeous things.  Love the nesting dolls and the hoopla, too!

I love that paper art based on Fahrenheit 451!! That's one of my favorite books. I need to reread it!  Everyone is so full of talent.  I am still chugging along, hoping to send out soon.  Cheesy

Pcollins, the artwork based on the book cover is truly amazing! Can you tell us how you made it? The robot bookmark is really cool too, working in paper seems to be your thing!
