Wow, Eclectic Dreamer--so many nice bookmarks!  And so many fun stitch markers!!  And what a really pretty and cool bag!  I've never seen one that zips closed, that is such a great idea.  Wonderful package!

But really, lets go back to that bag for a moment.  You made a sewing kit and a necklace, but that wasn't enough, you made an incredibly detailed bag too??

The Chinese inspired bag was my medium - it was such an easy to follow pattern from Sewphisti-cat Designs called "Louise's Bag" As soon as I saw a book with Chinese seamstress in the title the crafts I could make just started jumping out at me Smiley And you can't be a seamstress without a travel sewing kit so I had this cute one pinned http://lotsofpinkhere.blogspot.com.au/2011/09/travel-sewing-kit-tutorial.html. Then out supply shopping (everyone know's this feeling) I saw these sewing charms for a very reasonable price and just had to make a vintage look pendant. This has been the funnest swap!! I'm glad you liked everything Nina  Cheesy

Amazing new additions to the gallery everyone!

I had so much fun making the bookmarks and tote. I had a jar of resist fluid that I was dying to try out with my watercolours. I ended up using the same technique from the bookmark on the envelope swap with my calligraphy guild later that week! I just love the way certain colours pool together. I tried a zentangle with this method as well - it ended up with a blue, green and pink background with a white pattern - so pretty once you get the hang of it - give it a try!
