That's funny that Bobomom and I both bought that donut fabric.  One of my partners wanted realistic snack foods and i just loved that one.

Craftsunderground - I got the clock fabric at a local quilting shop....want me to get you a fat quarter?Huh

I love food fabric and the donuts called to me! And I thought they would be good for the "Any" category.

cabaute - I'm glad you like the fabrics! I thought the campers one was really cute!

I really like those owls and fishies too!!! They are just too cute! There are such great fabrics here! So today I am off to the quilt shop to see what I can find of some of them! I am on vacation and found a shop not too far away!!!

Might just need to add to the stash!!!!

Here's a tip if you haven't purchased your fabric yet. I asked the clerk to cut two 1/2 yard pieces instead of 1 yard. That way I only have to cut each one in half.  I would like to buy one of those little metal grooves they use, wouldn't that be nice to have?

I have a question for all of you fat-quarters hoarders Grin How do you store your fat quarters. I wrap mine onto rectangles cut from comic book boards, but I am undecided as to the best size. I have been cutting mine 3.5 x 3.5 (I think I saw that somewhere on the Internet.) Recently I purchased some FQs that were wrapped on 5 x 5.5 rectangles. This size fits nicely into my storage system (upcycled CD boxes from IKEA), but I think I prefer to wrap in thirds (I hope that is clear). What size do you find is best?

Wen I bring new fat quarters into the house I start by leaving them in my window...to stare at for a few days or weeks. Then I chuck em into the bin of fat quarters + (the bin that holds fabric fat quarter to just under a meter in size) I fold this bin on average every other month cause I rummage around in it most.  Grin I have real trouble cutting into new fat quarters. That's why I selected the block I did for the current quilt swap. I am forcing myself to use the awesome fat quarters in my stash, now.  Smiley
