This is Frog, from the Super Nintendo game "Chrono Trigger". When I was starting to learn how to crochet, I planned to make amigurumis from this game, but I got too busy and only now (after a year) I initiated it. Frog is one of my favorites, his story is about honor, loyalty and revenge against Magus(or forgiveness if you choose so)!
Actually, I think that it's gonna take a long time for me to make the others because this one gave me a lot of work
. It took me about 10 days to finish it.
The head was the most difficult part, I still don't know how I could do that
Just when I finished to sew the eyes and embroider the strips that I knew how it would really be.
He stands on his feet all alone, I made the shoes first thinking about it. He's about 30cm (11.8 inches) tall.
This is also the first project designed by me that had no felt or plastic (I normally use that for eyes), I embroidered the eyes this time!
The shield and sword are removable and you can play with it because in his fingers there are wires making them totally posable.
The cape is also removable, despite it's a little bit difficult to do that.
I also put wire inside his arms.
