The finished costume is abstolutely stunning! 
I am making a cape with a stand up collar for my granddaughter and was most interested in your post but none of the pictures of the process show up .. just a little X.   

The cape pattern I used had a hood so I took that and tried to modify it to suit, but it ends up too tight around her head.  I think I need to make it rounder and add darts but how big etc, I'm not sure. 

Any advice would be much appreciated.
